Dlaczego się nie (z)rozumiemy – PC Master Hate #2 - Felieton

Skoro mamy już za sobą dość burzliwą rozmowę o tym czym jest klawiaturstwo (przypomnę – polską wersją PC Master Race) możemy trochę wyluzować z graniem na emocjach. Albo i nie, bo dziś wyruszymy na wyprawę do źrodła hejtu – ciemniejszego i brudniejszego niż najtańsza kafejka internetowa w mieście.

W wersji krótkiej, hejt wywodzi się z zakochania w swoim sprzęcie i z niezrozumienia gamingu jako całości, która została naturalnie podzielona. W tym pokrętnym zdaniu powtórzyłem starą mądrość o tym, że wszystko ma dwa odcienie, jest ciemna i jasna strona mocy, yin i yang, dobro i zło. I tak samo w obrębie gamingu należą do niej odpowiednio konsole i pecety. Ekhem, oczywiście.

Pomijając czasy Amig, Atari i walk z Segą i Nintendo o uznanie graczy przejdźmy do historii najnowszej kultury grania, za której początek uznam moment w którym  grafika 3D na dobre stała się standardem. Witajcie w wielkiej podróży od 1997 roku aż do dzisiaj. Oto siedemnaście lat największych premier, które podzieliły świat PC i konsol. Oglądając dysproporcję w ilości świetnych tytułów między obiema platformami można dostrzec gdzie ląduje ich więcej i z myślą o jakich sprzętach powstają. I im jest ich więcej tym trudniej jest zrozumieć czemu klawiaturstwo tak bardzo się szerzy i je odrzuca. Niech gry same przemówią.

Legenda: na liście zaznaczam tylko najważniejsze premiery z obu światów i zaliczam do nich tylko gry które w danym roku nie wyemigrowały z konsol na PC i odwrotnie. W zestawieniu nie ma też dodatków. Dzięki temu możemy porównać w co się grało, którym roku (kalendarzowym) na PC i konsolach.

2015 jeszcze sobie podsumujemy… Przypominam: w każdym z podsumowań roku wybierałem gry godne uwagi, które w danym roku kalendarzowym wychodziły tylko na PC albo tylko na konsolach. Mogły mi więc za każdym razem uciec 1-2 pozycje, które byście chcieli tam widzieć, ale nie wpłynęłoby to na ogólny obraz każdego podpunktu (to miało być zestawienie reprezentatywne). Materiału do przejrzenia był ogrom i jestem wykończony, ale wypada jeszcze wyciągnąć kilka wniosków:

Wniosek 1 - Dla mnie te liczby to tak zwane argumenty. Wypisane powyżej gry pokazują rok, po roku gdzie rozwijała się branża gier, gdzie panowała nuda gatunkowa i gdzie można było spotkać najwięcej świeżych, ciekawych, niepodrabialnych produkcji. Właśnie dlatego gdy pisałem o tym co się dzieje po połknięciu czerwonej pigułki miałem na myśli front konsolowy.
